Home business lead are the lifeline of your business. When you hear these crazy stories of someone making something like $45,000 in 3 days, don’t you ever wonder how they did it?
 
Well, this is their secret…………They build a list. Your list is your biggest asset you will have, not your business and I will tell you why. A list is names and email addresses that you have acquired through your marketing efforts via of a lead capture page. A lead capture page is one of those pages where you see some information, then there is a form to fill out with your name and email address and sometimes your phone number.
 
When you market your lead capture page, you will have what is called opt-in, this is simply those that fill out the form. You now have access to these people’s email address. They also “opted in”, so you now have their permission to email them at any time. As you market your lead capture page, your list grows. Some will buy what you have to offer, some won’t. But that is OK; your job is offering these people free, valuable information to they start gaining your trust and start viewing you as a leader.
 
There are many companies that offer lead capture pages, but the problem with this is, the company itself owns this list. So, if the company shuts down for what ever reason….. all of those names and email address are gone! This actually happened to me last year. I had names, email addresses, and phone numbers to almost 700 customers and the company shut their doors…..all of this information was gone because this info was kept in my company’s back office.
 
So, over time your list (home business lead) grows and grows. So, the key is when you decide to join another opportunity, or affiliate program, you have your list, so you email them and tell them about it, but certainly not in a spamming sort of way. These people already know who you are because you have been emailing them valuable content, you are not some person just spamming them…remember they opted-in to receive emails from you. So, the chances of them buying what you have to offer are greater than sending an email to someone they have never heard of. So, if your list grows to a couple thousand can see how powerful this is?
