What Is Targeted Lead Generation
Imagine if you owned a small golf store and you wanted to drum up a little business. How would you go about doing it? Would you put a large ad in the Yellow Pages? Probably not because it would cost a lot of money and not all people looking for golf equipment would look there. Would you send out mailers to every house in town? Again, probably not because not all people are golfers. A lot of those mailers would go right into the garbage. What you would do would be a way to reach just golfers in the most cost efficient manner possible. Finding the best mlm lead online is a way that will not only explode your business, but it will save you a lot of time.
On the web, it is actually much easier to perform targeted lead generation than it is in “real life”. There are plenty of places you can go to track down those golfers, for example, and hit them up with an offer that might interest them without bothering a bunch of others who don’t golf.
Targeted lead generation can be done in several different ways, and no one way works all the time, so it is best to utilize a combination of these and more in order to develop the best lead list you can:
1. Join as many niche groups online as possible. The best place to start looking is Yahoogroups, but Facebook, Linked In, and MySpace have groups you can join. Simply just start networking through the group and get to know people.
2. Submit articles about your product to ezine article submission sites. By utilizing proper keywords and placing the keywords in the title, at least 3 times in the body of the article, and in the signature box. Lead generation will start off slow, but the more articles your write the more leads you will get.
3. Don’t forget about Craig’s List. Although MLM is frowned upon here, you can still get people interested, and most importantly, get your hands on their email address.
Remember that the more specific your product is, the more work you will have to do to track down your target audience, but once you do, the sales per lead ratio should increase.
