OK, let the truth be told. Most of the leads that I generate DO NOT give phone numbers. Ideally, after you generate a lead, the best thing to do is to pick up the phone. And why is that?
When you pick up the phone and actually speak to someone, you get to know them. The initially contact IS NOT about pitching them on your business. In fact, if this is what you do now and you wonder why you get rejected all of the time, the reason is that some people may not have a need or want for your product or service. So, why not find out FIRST, if there is a need and if so, then tell them about your business.
But again, YOU don’t have a phone number, so what do you do next? You turn to Facebook. You have the lead’s email address, so what you can do is, under the friends area, you go to Find Friends. And simply enter in the email address and see if they appear. If they do, you add them as a friend. If they don’t, then you can send them an email.

Remember, when you add anyone as a friend on Facebook, please remember to add a personal message. If you don’t, then person will have no idea who you are and may not accept you as a friend.
Please Note: You are trying to get to know a little bit about the person first, so start asking questions.
Questions To Ask:
What do you do?
Are you married?
Do you have kids?
What does that entail?
How has the economy affected your job?
If the person responds something like, “I have the best job ever and make so much money and could never think about doing anything else.” Then, you would only be wasting your time with this person. So, don’t even bring up your business. They will see what you are up to seeing your statuses on Facebook and if they are curious, they will ask you what you are doing.
What Not To Do:
Don’t start puking your biz opp all over the person right away. Do you know how annoying this is? Oh, and btw, how is it working for you? Getting many sign ups? Probably not.
Make network marketing fun, not stressful. Get to know people and build the relationship with them. For Example, if you fly airplanes, then join a Facebook group for people tat fly airplanes, so that you have a connection with them that will spark a conversation. If you are a mom, then join mom groups. If people like you and have a need for your business, then they will sign up with you and only you. They will not go sponsor shopping if they like you!
So, go out there, make some new friends and why not recruit some people along the way!
