If you are using Facebook to network with other marketers, and you offer an incentive for people to give you their email address, like a free training, then you will want to add an opt in box to your Facebook profile page. This is a great way on how to generate leads.

Steps
 
Logon to Facebook
On Home Page Click on Applications
Search bar type in ‘html profile box’
Enter in your html code from your autoresponder
 
If you need an autoresponder: Click Here: Aweber.
 
Click update HTML Profile Box Button
Click back to profile link
Click on boxes tab
You will see your HTML profile box
Click on the Pen and select, move to wall tab
 
OK, now that we have our opt in box in place, you will want to think of a compelling offer, so people will want to opt in. So, to do this, you will need to add text, so you don’t just have a box, unless that is what you want. You can just add your text above the HTML code. But if you don’t how that works, you can add the following html code to your text:
 
For example – you can use this code as an example:
 
<font size=2>
<font color=red>PUT YOUR TEXT HERE</font>
 
It is simple…if you want larger text, replace the number 2 with a higher number. If you want a different color, just replace the word red with a different color.
