I have read many books by Robert Kiyosaki. After reading them, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. The number 1 reason I wanted to become my own boss was I wanted to write my paycheck. I had a great corporate job and made a great income but, it still wasn’t paying the bills (having 3 kids in daycare is quite expensive). I was tired of working so hard and I felt that I was not earning what I was worth. I worked overtime, overnight, weekends, and whenever I was needed. I didn’t mind because I enjoyed working, but I was still struggling financially.
 
After searching of ways to make money online, I found network marketing and after struggling for a bit, I did make a good income. Network marketing focuses a lot on personal development, so that led me to read the book, “Why We Want You To Be Rich” by Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump. Robert and Donald speak about how people should take control of their financial future and not rely on government programs, like social security.
 
So, to do this, they recommend becoming self-employed. The problem is, that a majority of people don’t have the funds to buy a big name franchise and they don’t want to deal with employees and all of the other headaches running a business like that. Network marketing is a great option to consider as it requires minimum investment. you don’t need any employees, and you can work from the comfort of your own home.
 
Toward the end of the book, I was happy to read that Robert Kiyosaki recommends network marketing for those that want to change from an employee to an entrepreneur. He says, that in network marketing it is easy to get the necessary skills and training to be successful, but you need to find a company that has a great training program. He recommends focusing less on the products and compensation plan and more on personal development program the company offers.
 
Very few companies have a proven system in place to allow the new entrepreneur to hit the ground running, instead of having build a new system. So he recommends finding a network marking company that already has a system in place. Most people start a network marketing business while still working a fulltime job.  This would make their time to devote to a new business limited. Getting involved with a company that helps the new entrepreneur build their business would be ideal.

 
 If people want to change their financial state, then need to take that action to change it. It is time for people to take control of their finances and live the life that they want to live, so they can stop struggling and enjoy their life.
