The truth is, whenever you’re researching any kind of business that’s going to take a considerable amount of effort, time, and financial resources, it’s important to investigate all you can about the company to help ensure your success. Absolutely not! Ambit is an energy company that simply offers customers a way to save on their energy bill and they offer people an opportunity to earn an income from home just by sharing the business. Because of energy deregulation, the consumer now has a choice on whom they would like to supply their energy. There are many companies that offer a less expensive rate than their local provider.

I have to say that while doing my research on Ambit, I was quite impressed with what I had read. In 2008, the company had almost $200 million is sales and nearly $325 million in 2009. It was among the top 100 places to work by the Dallas Morning News. Inc magazine places Ambit on the popular Inc 500 list. As you can see from the review so far, this company is definitely not a scam.

Ambit Energy Scam – The Opportunity

To get start your own energy business with Ambit, you can enroll as an independent consultant for $429. This will give you the ability to signup customers and recruit other consultants. The company also requires that you pay $25 per month for website fees. You can also be an affiliate partner for the company for $99. This will allow you only to receive commissions from customers that you sign up and pay their monthly bill. If you are looking to build a big team, you definitely want to sign up at the $429 option. As far as the compensation plan, you can get that information from the corporate website, but this is an opportunity that will allow you to earn whatever you want to if you put in the work.

Ambit Energy Scam – The Training

Instead of worrying about if Ambit is a scam, you need to focus on how to build your business because that is going to bring in the money. After talking with many Ambit reps, what I’ve found is that the majority of them build their business using old school tactics. While these tactics work for some people, it is important to understand that they don’t work for everyone. Most people are simply just too busy to attend home meetings and hotel meetings. They are tired of chasing their friends and family and most discover that they have run out of people to talk to about the business.
 
While I have no doubt that Ambit provides the basics on how to approach people and talk to people regarding the business, but what they don’t teach is how to develop a new warm market from complete strangers to present their business opportunity to. Most people I talk with want to build their business using the internet, but they are unsure how. Using the internet is a great way to find people that already believe in the network marketing model. Wouldn’t it be easier to sponsor people in Ambit if they already believed in the mlm model and were looking for an opportunity?
